Under this 6-month pilot program, eligible applicants for B1 (Business) and B2 (Tourist) visas can pay an additional $750 USD to jump the queue and secure an interview slot within 10 business days (subject to availability).

The Massive Catch: What $750 Does Not Buy
It is incredibly important to understand exactly what you are paying for. The U.S. State Department has made it explicitly clear that this is a premium appointment service, not a fast-track visa approval system.

- Guarantee that your visa will be approved.
- Speed up the consular officer’s decision.
- Fast-track the administrative processing time.
Essentially, the fee only cuts down the time you spend waiting to talk to a consular officer. Once your interview is finished, your application enters the exact same pipeline as everyone else.

Who Can Use This Service?
You can’t jump on this opportunity just yet. The program comes with strict limitations:

Is It Worth It?
If you have an urgent business deal on the line or an unexpected family event in the United States, the $750 convenience fee might be a lifesaver just to get your foot in the door for an interview.
However, for everyday tourists or those on a budget, the standard appointment process remains fully active and available without the hefty premium.
